The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it really is alarmed regarding the high number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often sassa mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area each day. The service position established for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to help the servicing of all clients and boost use of Social sassa Assistance services,” the agency said.
